Women almost always lack the choice of products when it comes to training and they often pick the smaller sizes of Men’s gear. With sauna suits, this is even more pronounced and there are even fewer purely women’s models that have the needed looks and performance for a woman to feel good about it. The HOTSUIT Women’s Weight Loss Sauna Suit is one of the best models for women out there and in this review, I am going to walk you through it and show you why it is a good choice for both women and kids.
Our verdict: If you are looking for a fashionable sweat suit that is excellent for outdoor training, this should be on your short list. Apart from its great design and looks, it has quite a few patented technologies used in it which make its heat insulation properties excellent for anyone looking to break a sweat. One of the most notable downsides is the price tag. That would’ve been alright if the seams weren’t such a weak spot, but if you treat your suit well it should last you a long while.
Overview & Features
It is worth mentioning that Hotsuit as a brand has more than just one sauna suit model, they also have sauna tracksuits, jackets, and pants for women sold separately if you aren’t after a full-on bodysuit. Their jackets are excellent for runners that often go out in less-than-ideal conditions since the jacket is entirely waterproof and windproof. This weight loss suit, despite not being a jacket, is also quite weather-proof which makes it a perfectly comfortable and slightly better fitting jogging suit.

Most Hotsuit models use the same materials with their proprietary nano-silver fabric design on the inside and a nylon composite on the outside. The result is an entirely waterproof and windproof construction that is ideal at heat and moisture retention. These properties also make the suit ideal for runners and people who train outdoors. The rubberized inner coating is also excellent at preventing odor-buildups unlike some cheaper PVC-based suits or even some neoprene models.
Sauna suits often emulate the experience of a real steam room in its most basic form. To learn more about the benefits and risks of that, head over to my dedicated article on the topic!
Despite being a women’s version, this sauna suit has all the sizes from Small to 4XL. The thing I wanted to see is an XS version which would’ve really shown their intentions of targeting smaller women or girls. The suit is true to its size so choose according to your current size or if you want to wear it with more clothes underneath, you can choose a size above your own.
There isn’t much done here in terms of ventilation. The front side zipper is the only thing you can quickly unzip to let some air flow around your body if you feel like overheating.
Cuffs and fit
All the sleeves here are cuffed, as well as the pants but what I don’t like is that the cuffs on the arms are really narrow and they can sometimes feel too tight or downright uncomfortable. Still, they all create a good seal which is bound to keep the moisture in.
The laced hoodie is also a nice addition since it is really easy to be sealed shut and further help you heat up your body.
Washing and anti-odor properties
The rubber coating allows the suit to be washed easily and water usually doesn’t stick around too much, especially if it’s dried in a well-ventilated area. Water tends to go do the seams and sometimes if they aren’t treated properly, they might leak, so keep that in mind. In order to keep the suit in its optimal condition, avoid machine washing it, machine drying it, or drying it under a direct heat source or sunlight.
The stylistic part of this sauna suit is undeniably one of its core features and main selling points. Many women often look for the thing that suits their style the best and having to pick from four vibrant colors definitely helps. There is a full black option, black with light blue, black and red, and black and pink
Apart from the windproofing and waterproofing, the only additional feature that is worth mentioning is the reflective logo upfront which, if you get the full black suit, is a good thing to have on a late-night run.

Conclusion & Rating
The HOTSUIT Women’s Weight Loss Sauna Suit is one of my favourite picks for this year, especially since it is one of the (if not the) best for women and has a variety of features to improve its fit. it is slightly narrower than traditional sauna suits and has a more stylish design to it which allows more stretching and better freedom of your movements. In terms of heat insulation, its rubberized inner layer does a perfect job at making you sweat and keeping your core warmed up. If you make sure you hand wash it and treat it properly, you shouldn’t have any issues with it despite the higher initial price tag. I gave it four and a half stars of rating.
